All learners have access to the grade they are registered for and the grade below, except for grade 7. 

Only learners have access to lessons. This means you are logged in as the parent, not the learner.

No this is definitely not allowed. Only one user per set of login details. We offer a family discount for up to three children or siblings.

A. If you have registered through the website and paid through PAYFAST:

The parent needs to sign into his/her account. Your email address is your username, and if you have forgotten your password, you can request a new one.
Once you have signed in, you can renew from there.

B. If you are a voucher user:

Buy a new voucher through us by emailing info@youcandomaths.co.za 

There are two ways of registering.

A. Register through the website and pay through PAYFAST:

This is recommended for parents or guardians who would like to keep track of the learner's progress.
Note: The parent/guardian and the learner each need their own email address.

The process:

Click on Register.

Select "No" to Do you have a voucher number?

Step 1: Parent Details
This is where the parent enters his/her details.
The parent’s email address will be his/her username.

Step 2: Learner Details
This is where the details of the learner are entered. A parent can enter up to 3 learners.
Please note: The learner cannot have the same email address as the parent. If the learner does not have an email address, he/she can sign up at gmail, yahoo, etc. for a free email address.
The learner’s email address will be his/her username.

Step 3: Summary
In this step you will see a summary of your registration details.

Step 4: Payment
In this step you will be re-directed to the PAYFAST website for payment. Payment can be done from a credit card or as a direct transfer from your bank.
Please note: Do not close the browser after payment, you will be directed back to our website.

B. Registering with a voucher:

Using this method, only one email address is required and is recommended for adult/mature learners. Payment is done directly to us via EFT or cash deposit at a FNB ATM.

The process:

You first need to buy a voucher through us by doing the following.

1. Email info@youcandomaths.co.za stating your name, the type (1, 3, 6, 9 or 12 months) and number of vouchers.
2. We will then email you our banking details.
3. You make payment and email us the proof of payment.
4. We send you the voucher number(s).

Click on Register

Select "Yes" to Do you have a voucher number?

Type in the voucher number and click Continue.

Step 1: Learner details
The learner’s email address will be his/her username.

Step 2: Voucher details
The system will check the validity of the voucher number and give you a summary of it.

Step 3: Redeem Voucher
When clicking Redeem Voucher, you will be registered on the system and will have immediate access to all lessons.

The system is designed so that the parent is linked to the learner. The parent and the learner therefore can't have the same email address.
If the learner does not have an email address, he or she can get one for free at gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc.

Check your internet connection. This is usually because of a failed internet connection. Refresh the page and restart the test. 

You can try one of the following:
Listen to the lesson again. Remember to pause, rewind and repeat.
If this lesson follows another lesson, listen to the previous lesson.
You can also listen to the same topic if it is listed in the previous grade.

Read it again.
Look at the Notes.
Use the Dictionary if you do not understand a word.
If this does not help, type in any answer in order to proceed with the test. Make a note of this question and check the working in the answers.

If your score is below 60% we recommend that you redo the lesson and the test.
If your score is above 60% and you feel that you still don’t understand, it is a good idea to redo the lesson and the test.
When preparing for a test or exams.
Remember, one learns by repetition

If you feel you can achieve a higher score, redo the test. Please note: there are multiple tests which alternate.

Yes, our lessons can play on any device.

Absolutely. We recommend that you use earphones to concentrate better.

No, DVDs go out of date. By having it on the internet the program will always be up to date.

We recommend a strong internet connection with unshaped data. Be wary of some uncapped internet offers, because service providers may shape the data which means that the download speed can become very slow at times.

No, we only cover pure Mathematics.

This happens when a learner does not press pause or when the learner does not log out. Always remember to LOG OUT.
